One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision Monday involving a motorcycle rider in Compton.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 12:30 a.m. Monday to Atlantic Avenue and East Rose Street near East Rancho Dominguez Park where they learned the motorcycle rider and a vehicle collided, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
