Two men were stabbed during a fight at a bar in Long Beach early Saturday morning, authorities said.
Both victims declined transport to a hospital for stab wounds to the upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department. They were expected to survive their injuries.
Officers were dispatched at about 1:10 a.m. Saturday to Roxanne’s at 1115 E. Wardlow Road regarding a stabbing.
Police said the first victim was arguing with a suspect, which escalated into a fight. The suspect allegedly stabbed the first victim and then stabbed the second victim, who attempted to break up the altercation.
The suspect fled on foot, prior to the arrival of police. No description was immediately available.
