A person was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan Sunday in Gardena on the border of Rancho Dominguez.
The collision was reported about 8:45 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Compton Boulevard and South Broadway, where California Highway Patrol officers found the victim, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
