A convicted felon who had been mistakenly released from federal custody was apprehended again Tuesday after eluding law enforcement for approximately two hours.
Alejandro Zamora was recaptured by personnel from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the U.S. Marshals Service, Air National Guard, and San Diego County Sheriff’s Office deputies from the Gang Unit Vista office, according to the ATF.
The member of the Vista Homeboys gang faces possible additional federal charges, according to the ATF.
