A pedestrian was left dead Tuesday morning by a driver who left the scene in Eagle Rock, authorities said.
Police said the victim, a man in his mid-30s, was struck at about 5:05 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Colorado Street and Broadway.
Video from the scene showed a white pop-up tent on the street covering the body.
An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division said a description of the vehicle was not immediately available.
