A pedestrian was left dead Tuesday morning by a driver who left the scene in Eagle Rock.
Police said the victim was struck about 5:05 a.m. at the intersection of Colorado Street and Broadway.
Video from the scene showed a white pop-up tent on the street covering the body.
An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section did not know the pedestrian’s age or gender and a description of the vehicle was not immediately available.
