One person was killed and another injured in a collision in Lancaster Wednesday.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at 200th Street East and East Avenue G-8 where California Highway Patrol officers found the victims, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
Reports from the scene indicted the collision was between a white Dodge Challenger and a black Honda Civic.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, Kravig said.
According to a videographer at the scene, the deceased victim was a 12-year-old a boy
The second victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
