A 28-year-old man suspected of vandalizing a memorial site in the unincorporated Lake Mathews area was taken into custody Thursday.
Deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station responded to a memorial site near Cajalco Road and La Sierra Avenue at approximately 11:40 a.m. July 24 to reports regarding vandalism, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
