A man was shot and wounded Sunday near a house party in the USC area, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday to a reported shooting in the 3000 block of Budlong Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
The victim had already been taken to a hospital by a private vehicle, police said. He later told officers that he had been approached by a suspect who fired shots at him.
It was not immediately known where the victim was shot, but officials said he had stable vital signs at the hospital.
No suspect description was immediately available.
More than 100 people were attending a house party near the shooting site, according to KTLA5.
