Riverside County Fire Department firefighters were battling a blaze that broke out after a vehicle crashed into a building in Indio Sunday.
The crash was reported around 4:50 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Indio Boulevard and Avenue 48, according to the RCFD.
Additional resources were requested to assist fire crews.
It was unknown how many people were in the vehicle, as well as the building. It was further unclear what type of building was struck.
The cause of the crash was not immediately unknown.
