The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sunday circulated a photo of a 20-year-old man with a mental disorder who went missing in Compton, authorities said.
William Alexander Ornelas, who requires medication, was last seen about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of North Thorsen Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Ornelas was described as a 6-foot, 150-pound Latino man with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweater, silver shorts with a Tom and Jerry logo, sandals, white socks and a green hat.
Anyone who has seen Ornelas or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Callers who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or lacrimestoppers.org.
