Concerns mounted Monday for the safety of a 67-year-old man last seen in Corona, prompting the activation of a Silver Alert

Milton Poe was last spotted around 2 a.m. Saturday at Temescal Canyon Road and Retreat Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Poe was described as a 5-foot-8-inch tall man weighing 160 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a Captain America symbol and blue jeans.

Authorities believe Poe was traveling on foot.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
