Police in Long Beach Tuesday sought the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who has cognitive issues.
Corrion Scales was last seen Monday around 5 p.m. when he was dropped off at his home “and walked out of sight,” according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The location of Scales’ home was not disclosed.
“He has walked away in the past, but was located by his family in the local area,” police said. “Scales was on foot, does not have a cell phone nor tracking device on his person and (has) an unknown amount of money.”
Police say Scales is at risk because his cognitive conditions make him unable to care for himself.
Scales was described as Black, 5-feet-8 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black shoes when last seen.
Anyone with information regarding Scales’ whereabouts was urged to call the LBPD Missing Persons Detail at 562-570-7246 or police dispatch at 562-435-6711.
