A 45-year-old man shot to death in an unincorporated area bordering Compton was identified Thursday.
The shooting was reported about 12:20 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West El Segundo Boulevard, near Main Street, in Willowbrook, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, sheriff’s officials said. He was identified Thursday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Wesley Brown.
No details were provided regarding the killer or a possible motive.
