A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Hemet, and authorities Friday continued their investigation.
Francisco Valdivia Soriano of Hemet was fatally injured shortly after 12:25 p.m. Thursday in the area of Lyon and Eaton avenues, according to the Hemet Police Department.
Soriano was traveling east on Eaton when he collided with a vehicle that was southbound on Lyon, police said.
Officers arrived and found Soriano unresponsive in the roadway. Despite lifesaving measures from officers and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was cooperative with the investigation.
“Impaired driving does not appear to be a factor,” police said.
