A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a tow truck in Huntington Beach Friday.
The collision occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Friday near McFadden Avenue and Springdale Street, involving a blue Yamaha R1 motorcycle and a yellow Ford tow truck, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries upon the arrival of officers. Medical first responders responded to the location a short time later, where they pronounced the man dead at the scene.
His name was withheld pending notification of relatives. The 60-year-old driver of the Ford tow truck, identified only as a man from Victorville, sustained no injuries.
