Sheriff’s detectives Sunday asked the public for help locating a 42-year-old woman who has been missing for nearly two months.

Ashli Lopez was last seen June 20 at 11:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Jefferson Boulevard, at Harvard Boulevard, in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. She might be headed to Yorba Linda, in Orange County, and her family is concerned for her well-being.

Lopez is white, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos including a lion on her right shoulder, a sunflower on her left shoulder and the words “never going to go back” under her left arm.

Anyone with information about where Lopez might be was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.

  1. She came home. Theres a mental health crisis being managed poorly and kept secret due to the grandmother’s unwillingness to let the child involved be taken by the father. Creating yet another crisis all together. Temporary relocation of the at risk child is not an option for the grandmother. She wont even let realitives in area to help in denial of her part in domestic violence and child neglect/abuse she feels is normal. I feel sorry for her, Im the wrong person to stay silent , its not my nature.
