Detectives Tuesday morning were investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a home in Anaheim.
Police went to a residence in the 1300 block of East La Palma Avenue at about 2 p.m. Monday to do a welfare check, according to Anaheim Police Department spokesman Sgt. Matt Sutter.
“Officers arrived and located a deceased male approximately 40 years old,” Sutter said.
The victim had obvious signs of severe trauma and detectives worked through the night investigating the apparent homicide, according to the sergeant.
It was not immediately clear who requested the welfare check.
No arrests or suspect information were provided as of Tuesday morning.
The victim’s name was not immediately available.
