The 59-year-old driver who was killed when his gray Honda Civic veered across several lanes of the Foothill (210) Freeway in Azusa and hit the center divider was identified by county authorities Friday.

The victim, identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Mark Bull, struck the freeway’s center divider and then a tree, authorities said.

The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol about 3:25 p.m. Saturday on the westbound freeway just east of Vernon Avenue.

A witness told the CHP Bull possibly passed out and was swerving between lanes before the crash.

  1. Mark was a good guy. Enjoyed hanging out with him and Deena during Friday night and Saturday nights when they hosted karaoke at Chaparral Lanes in San Dimas.
