A multi-county Silver Alert – including Riverside County – is in effect Friday for an 88-year-old man who was reported missing after last being seen in San Bernardino County.
Milton Coleman was last seen Tuesday at approximately 7 p.m. at East Mountain View Street and Melissa Avenue in Barstow, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Tehachapi Police Department.
Coleman is Black, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. Authorities say Coleman is believed to be driving a gold 2005 Honda Pilot with California license plate number KU411DP.
Anyone who has seen Coleman or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
