Riverside County Fire Department firefighters battled a fire behind a commercial building in Indio Sunday.
The fire was reported about 2:35 p.m. Sunday in the 43000 block of Jackson Street, where fire crews found the fire in the rear of a business.
Firefighters contained the blaze just after 3 p.m., but predicted remaining on scene for two more hours, checking for extension and performing overhaul.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
