A motorcycle rider who was killed after he crashed into a parked pickup truck in Azusa was identified by county authorities Friday.
Rudy Tovar, 27, was identified as the victim in the deadly collision, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
California Highway Patrol officers along with officers from the Azusa Police Department responded to 195 West Gladstone St., west of South Azusa Avenue at 12:07 a.m. Thursday regarding a collision, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
Tovar was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
The CHP will be in charge of investigating the collision.
