Firefighters Saturday knocked down the “bulk” of a second-alarm fire at a one-story commercial building in South El Monte, but have yet to announce a knockdown time, citing “access issues,” authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched at 5:57 a.m. to the 1200 block of North Santa Anita Avenue, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer.
No injuries have been reported and there was no other immediate information available.
