Firefighters put out an attic fire Saturday in a boarded-up Koreatown house.
The fire was reported at 7:18 p.m. Saturday at 4005 W. First St., east of Normandie Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
Light smoke was showing when firefighters arrived, but they followed it to the flames in the attic, Lantz said.
The fire was out at 7:31 p.m. with no injuries reported, she said.
Firefighters planned to remain at the scene to manage hot spots and mitigate damage.
