A 79-year-old man who was last seen in La Verne and was the subject of a Silver Alert was located, authorities said Saturday.
Tom Edwards was previously last seen Thursday at approximately 6 p.m. near Marshall Creek Drive and Olivewood Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the La Verne Police Department.
Details about where and when Edwards was located were not available.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
