A 50-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash near the Gower Street off-ramp from the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood was identified Tuesday.
The crash was reported at about 4:15 a.m. Monday near the northbound off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol, which said it did not appear any other vehicles were involved.
The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
He was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Louie Rosales.
