A 41-year-old man is being sought in connection with mail theft, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday.

Larin Romo of Riverside in considered as a “person of interest” but authorities did not specify his exact involvement or what he is wanted for.

Jessica Osburn, 38, of Riverside was arrested Sept. 12 at her residence in the 2000 block of Fairmount Boulevard in Riverside and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of mail theft.

Deputies conducted a search at the home and discovered evidence of the alleged mail theft, including items tied to Lake Mathews, Ontario, Riverside, and Lake Elsinore, authorities said.

Deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station responded around 3 a.m. Sept. 11 to the 13000 block of Carista Boulevard in the unincorporated Lake Hills area adjacent to Riverside to reports regarding mail theft, authorities said.

The area was searched by deputies but were unable to locate the suspect, prompting the Lake Mathews Station Special Enforcement Team to continue the investigation.
