A suspect was under arrest Sunday for allegedly stabbing his father to death in Riverside, police said.
Officers responded to the 3400 block of Bahia Place at around 4:15 p.m. Saturday after a report that a man had been stabbed by a family member during a possible mental health crisis, according to the Riverside Police Department.
The critically injured man was rushed to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect barricaded himself inside the home, but was later arrested without incident, police added.
Police have not identified the suspect or the victim.

Hello everyone I’m just suggesting that if any family member has a mental situation, please get help sometimes when we lean on our own understanding, we fall short of the glory. Please get them help if they refuse figure out something don’t just let it go. This came to my mind when I read this story
What’s wrong with these people. Even animals know better
Come on…..it clearly state he has mental health issues. You’re fortunate if you’ve never dealt with someone who has them. They can be very difficult to deal with. Please have some compassion. I hope this family gets the help they need.
Sad that I have to beg for someone to have compassion but here we are.
