A man suspected of homicide was caught by police after a multi-hour search in Bel Air, police reported Friday.

The search began about 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Glenroy Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Drake Madison.

The suspect was apprehended around four hours later, the officer said.

The man was reportedly bloody when located. A person was taken from the scene to a hospital, according to broadcast reports. It was unclear if that person was the suspect.

Madison said the man was wanted in connection with a murder investigation being handled by homicide detectives, but did not provide any further information, including about the victim.
