One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Palmdale Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at 12:53 a.m. Friday to the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway and the Pearlblossom Highway exit, where they found the damaged vehicles, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
According to reports from the scene, the crash left debris scattered over the lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and pronounced the victim — whose name, age or gender were not immediately known — dead at the scene, Kravig said.
The crash closed all lanes of the northbound freeway at the Pearlblossom exit for at least two hours.
