Authorities sought the public’s assistance Tuesday in locating an at-risk 40-year-old man with an unspecified mental health disorder that requires medication, who was last seen in Boyle Heights.

Andrew William Griffin was last seen around 11:50 a.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Marengo Street, between State and Soto streets, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Griffin was described as a 6-foot-1 white man, weighing 210 pounds, with brown and silver hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and white baseball cap, a grey sweater, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

Sheriff’s officials said Griffin is believed to be at Emanate Health Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina and there are growing concerns about his well-being.
