A cat named Floki remained missing Friday after the feline was allegedly stuffed into a trunk and cat-napped by a food delivery driver in West Hollywood.
The owner posted video on the NextDoor app showing the cat being taken between 3:45 and 4 p.m on Sept. 27 from outside the building where Floki lives in the 8700 block of Shoreham Drive, according to a WeHo Times report.
A male driver in a dark-colored Toyota Prius makes a delivery before snapping photos of the cat then grabbing it and stuffing it into the car’s trunk, the video reportedly shows.
A report of the cat-napping was filed with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s West Hollywood Station.
In the NextDoor post, the owner described Floki as a “too friendly” micro-chipped, 20-pound Savannah/Highlander mix, WeHo times reported.
There’s a $1,000 reward offered for the beloved pet’s return.
Anyone with information was urged to contact the owner at 310-525-4308 or the sheriff’s West Hollywood Station at 310-855-8850.
