A man in his 20s was killed in a what police called a gang-related shooting in North Hollywood Thursday.
Officers responded around 12:30 p.m. Thursday to the 7300 block of Lankershim Boulevard, near Sherman Way, regarding reports of shots fired, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was approached by three male suspects moments before one of them opened fire, shooting the victim multiple times, then running away.
Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department, and that the shooting is being investigated as a gang-related incident.
