The names of three men and a woman found dead of an apparent drug overdose in Fullerton were released Wednesday by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The four victims were found dead in a Fullerton apartment Tuesday after a friend called police saying he believed the group had overdosed on drugs.

The four were identified as:

— Ramon Louis Luera, 28, of Chino;

— Melissa Angela Lopez, 29, of Pomona;

— Vitor Alfonso Herrera, 41, of Los Angeles and;

— Christipher James Satterfield, 51, of Anaheim.

Police were called about 11 a.m. Tuesday to the 100 block of West Wilshire Avenue by a man who said his friends had overdosed and were not breathing, according to Fullerton Police Officer Kristy Wells, a spokeswoman for the department.

The bodies of the four were found in the apartment and investigators were working to determine the cause of death, Wells said. Toxicology tests to determine the cause could take weeks to be completed, Wells said.

The four people who died were all members of the same softball team and had come to the apartment to spend time with another teammate, KTLA reported, citing information from a friend of one of the people who died.
