The Indio Police Department was increasing patrols in the downtown district and surrounding neighborhoods Saturday as a result of a recent series of burglaries and vandalism incidents.
According to the police department, several of the burglaries and vandalism reports happened in the downtown area.
Due to the ongoing investigation, the department was not releasing additional information.
“Our detectives are actively investigating these incidents to identify and apprehend those responsible,” the Indio PD announced.
