One person was hospitalized Saturday after two vehicles collided, sending one into the side of a two-story apartment building in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at 5:34 p.m. Saturday in the 6500 block of West Orange Street, at Sweetzer Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
Video on KCAL showed a silver Range Rover and a red Volkswagen Beetle involved in the crash, with the SUV having struck the building and the Beetle nearby.
The age, gender and condition of the patient were not available, Middleton said.
A fire engine was at the scene until inspectors from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety arrive to assess structural damage, she said.
