One person was hospitalized Saturday after two vehicles collided, sending one into the side of a two-story apartment building and one on top of the other in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at 5:34 p.m. Saturday in the 6500 block of West Orange Street, at Sweetzer Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
Video on KCAL showed a Range Rover and another vehicle involved in the crash, with one vehicle having struck the building and the other partially on top of the other vehicle.
The age, gender and condition of the patient were not available, Middleton said.
A fire engine was at the scene until inspectors from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety arrive to assess structural damage, she said.
