Fire damaged a single-story home in Thousand Palms Thursday, displacing two adults and two minors.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the 31600 block of Date Garden Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said crews encountered fire in the walls of the home. The blaze was contained in roughly 20 minutes.
The Red Cross was requested to assist with the displaced residents.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
