Cheers erupted all over Los Angeles Saturday evening as the Dodgers clinched back-to-back World Series Victory,

There were crowds at bars and watch areas around LA Live, and they spilled onto the streets after the final Blue Jays out in Toronto out in the 11th inning sealed the win.

The Los Angeles Police Department went on Tactical Alert about 6 p.m. Saturday in preparation for the celebrations that might ensue and shut down streets in the area in hopes of keeping crowds under control. LA Metro detoured buses around the LA Live area and ride share vehicles that have been targets of vandals in the past were kept away.

When the crowds grew, the LAPD issued dispersal orders at Chick Hearn Court and 11th Street, and at Sunset Boulevard and Echo Park Avenue, telling people to leave or be subject to arrest.

ABC7 broadcast celebrations on Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima where fans lit fireworks and drove donuts in the street. Fireworks were also set off downtown, in Echo Park, in Little Tokyo and East Los Angeles.
