A utility crew was working to repair a massive sinkhole Monday in Woodland Hills.
A water main break was reported around 11 a.m. Monday at Valley Circle Boulevard and Marina Street, adjacent to Camino Real Charter High School. It caused a sinkhole measuring about 30 feet in diameter as water initially flooded the intersection.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that no injuries resulted from the sinkhole and confirmed that Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews were on scene to investigate and make repairs.
Valley Circle was closed in both directions from Burbank Boulevard to Canzonet Street, KTLA5 reported.
Officials did not have an estimated time for reopening the road.
