A 68-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after an alleged confrontation with a worker at a Palm Desert vote center.
Deputies responded shortly after 10 a.m. to the polling location in the 73000 block of Fred Waring Drive, according to Lt. Deirdre Vickers of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Vckers said Lindsay Michael Cohun was allegedly involved in a dispute with an employee for unspecified reasons.
Cohun, of Palm Desert, was booked at the Benoit Detention Center in Indio on suspicion of battery and interference at a polling location.
No injuries were reported.
