Police in Burbank detained a suspect in connection with a shooting that left another man wounded, police said Tuesday.
The shooting was reported around 11:10 p.m. Monday and officers from the Burbank Police Department responded to the 800 block of North Reese Place and West Chandler Boulevard.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, Burbank Police Lt. Jamal Childs told City News Service.
Paramedics from the Burbank Fire Department provided medical aid to the victim and took him to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Childs said a suspect was detained at the scene and questioned by police, but it was not immediately known if he was the shooter.
