A 39-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured when she collided with a car at a Lake Elsinore intersection, authorities said Tuesday.
Dianne Danielle Gutierrez of Lake Elsinore was killed shortly before 5 a.m. Monday in the crash at Central and Dexter avenues, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Sgt. Brad Foster said Gutierrez’s bike and the vehicle impacted as the victim traveled along Dexter at an unconfirmed speed. The circumstances remained under investigation.
The motorist, who was not injured, immediately stopped.
Paramedics reached the location within 15 minutes and pronounced Gutierrez dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was not arrested.
