A home invasion Wednesday in Sherman Oaks resulted in shots being fired and police searching for three male suspects.
The “hot prowl” incident occurred at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday in the 14800 block of Otsego Street, with the suspects last seen headed eastbound on Otsego toward Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect vehicle was described as a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Detectives believe a handgun was used during the home invasion, but said no property was taken from the residence.
ABC7 reported that a shooting occurred, but it was unclear whether the homeowner or suspects opened fire.
