One person was killed in a collision between a pickup truck and a Toyota Saturday on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Claremont.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a multi-vehicle collision at the westbound 10 freeway and the Indian Hill Boulevard exit at 3:16 a.m. Saturday where they found one person trapped inside one of the vehicles, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were called to the scene and pronounced the victim dead, Kravig said.
The victim’s name, gender and age were not released.
The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of four lanes of the westbound freeway and the Indian Hill Boulevard exit for an unknown duration while they investigated the cause of the collision.
