A man wanted for reckless driving in a white Infiniti sedan led law enforcement officers on a high-speed pursuit though southern Los Angeles County Sunday evening.

The car was missing both right fenders and had a yellow object draped over the rear license plate, flapping as the car moved, as shown live on Fox 11.

The California Highway Patrol was notified about the pursuit by deputies with the Compton sheriff’s department at 9:53 p.m. Sunday while the car was eastbound on the Artesia (91) Freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

More than 200 entries followed as the man driving the car led officers south on the Long Beach (710) Freeway, north on the 710 from Long Beach, west on the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway onto Imperial Highway and onto surface streets in South Gate, until he bailed out at Elm Street and Firestone Boulevard in the Florence-Graham area and was arrested, Garcia said.
