Authorities Monday sought the public’s help in locating an incarcerated 33-year-old man who walked away from a state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation conservation camp in Saugus.
Alejandro Tobarfuentes, who was convicted of burglary and other crimes, left the camp at 3510 N. San Francisquito Canyon Road on Sunday, according to the department. He was reported missing about 10 p.m. Sunday.
Tobarfuentes was sentenced to serve four years and eight months for first-degree burglary and displaying a forged driver’s license or ID and was placed in CDCR custody in May.
He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 164 pounds and has brown eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray sweatshirt and an orange beanie.
Anyone with information regarding Tobarfuentes’ whereabouts was urged to call 911 or Special Agent S. Rojas at 909-727-1947.
