A Silver Alert is in effect Friday for a 68-year-old woman reported missing in Jurupa Valley.
Brenda Battle was last seen about 10 p.m. on Nov. 6 at Samantha Place and La Rue Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Battle was described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black spandex pants and sandals.
Authorities believe she may be traveling on foot.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call 911.
Th CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
