A Silver Alert was deactivated after a 75-year-old man who went missing from Lakewood was located, authorities said Thursday.
Khan Van Tran had last been seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lakewood Center Mall and Pepperwood Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a silver alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
No information was shared about when or where Tran was found.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
