Authorities continued into an investigation Thursday of a wanted suspect arrested after a vehicle pursuit in the Coachella Valley.
About 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, deputies patrolling an area near Dinah Shore Drive and Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert located a suspect vehicle “driven by a wanted suspect,” according to Sgt. Robert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. It was unclear what the person was suspected of having done.
A description of the suspect was not made public.
The suspect drove away when deputies located the vehicle and attempted to make a stop, prompting a pursuit through Palm Desert, which ended when the vehicle became disabled in the 13000 block of Nahum Drive in Desert Hot Springs, Martinez said.
The suspect, whose identity was not provided, was arrested after being found in a residence where the vehicle was found disabled.
